Hello! Got a nagging problem with some sort of spyware effort on my computer - don't know how it got there, probably through Kazaa which I've now removed, I'm not much of a computer whizz so I was hoping someone might be able to help me out..please! SideFind is a program which opens pop-ups in internet explorer and tries to redirect me to other pages, although I've deleted some of the files and now it just says 'there's an error - would you like to continue running scripts on this page?' and then goes blank. It also prevents me from resetting my home page - instead I keep getting some ****py search engine, which also appears as a toolbar on the left hand side of my screen giving me some rubbish when I search for something in Google..
Anyway I've used Norton & Ad-Aware - and although Norton detects sfbho.dll in the SideFind folder it cannot delete it. Neither can I delete it manually - apparently it's being used by another program?! Tried to delete it in safe mode - nothing doing. Have searched on the web and it appears other users have had similar problems. Can anyone suggest how I might be able to erase the little git without resorting to chucking my PC out of the window? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers
