PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: windows xp
Problem Application Name & Version: Norton Internet Security 2004
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: error 1722


i attempted to download the norton internet security 2004 and received the error 1722 msg and said that certain information was interrupted during download.  i assumed it was because i have a dial-up service and it timed out so i ordered the cd version and the same thing happened.  the initial virus scan goes fine, but as it's installing the "error 1722" comes up time and again.  i'm probably not computer literate enough to know what to do.  it said something int he instructions about disabling the windows firewall.  i followed the steps to do that but when i right-clicked on the active connection icon and hit the "properties" title, nothing happened. it wouldn't show the properties.  i'm sort of at a loss for ideas at this point.  i'd love some advice on this to point me in the right direction.  thanks, andy hawk
