I was unable to use my home desktop computer as a Hi Jacker virus had taken over my browser IE.  I ran McAfee virus software and was able to delete some of the viruses on my computer and gain back control of my IE browser.  I downloaded the following programs and ran them AD-Aware V 6.0, CW Shredder, and Spybot S&D.  This cleaned up more of the problems with my computer. I still had TS.exe on my computer and went out to the forum and saw a posting on how to remove this which worked.  One of the final steps was to run Ad-Aware again using a customized scan, running this found another 250 data miners and trackers on mostly files and folders, when I tried to clean them Ad-Aware froze.  I have attached a current copy of Hi Jack This any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok made all the corrections that you sent.  Ran Spybot, and got two DSO Exploits, and one CoolWWWSearch.008k which could not be cleaned by Spybot, I also ran Ad-Aware SE and cleaned up all reg keys, then I ran AVG which showed no viruses.  I have attached a new Hi Jack This as follows.  Appreciate your help

The DSO exploits are a bug in the Spybot software, you can set to ignore until a fix is implemented
The CoolWWWSearch.008k, I've read others getting false postives with that entry also, I don't see coolwebsearch in your log
But I do however still see FastSeekerToolbar

Go to START>>RUN>>>type in "cmd" without quotes

In the command box type in
regsvr32 /u winnt/system32/fastseekertoolbar.dll

Notice the space between ("32 /" and "u w")

Do another Scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries
and then FIX CHECKED when ALL other windows are closed

O8 - Extra context menu item: &FastSeeker Search - res://C:\Program Files\FastSeeker\FastSeekerToolbar011203.dll/cmsearch.html

RESTART your computer
Look for and delete these files if found
in your  c:\winnt folder
Look for these:
fastseekertoolbar.dll
fastseekersetup.ocx
fastseekersetupv2.ocx

Look for this folder and delete it
C:\Program Files\FastSeeker <--this folder

Is Spybot right up to date
Open Spybot and click HELP at the top
Click ABOUT
Can you tell me Spybot version #
and also include Last detection updated date

You should install these 2 apps., they add extra security while
silently protecting you without running in the background

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtutorial=53

With both---Check for updates every couple of weeks

Word of warning, Not always the best idea too run 2 Anti-Viruses on startup, I really like AVG....
I've never use McAfee so I can't comment...

You may want to disable One AV on starup.... There may be conflicts or result in slower bootup times having both starting up...
This is optional, but you only really need one Updated AV running
You can use the other as a backup.....

Thanks for the information, I had written down what you asked for and forgot to add it to the last reply.
Spybot Version 1.3
Last detection 2004-08-20

I will also only use one of the AV's and keep the other as a spare.  I really appreciate you help and support.  Thanks again for all your help.

Cheers
