Ok... I bought  "Black & White", it's a cheap game, but that doesnt mean I want to buy it every time it gets a scratch on the cd. What I would like to do is be able to play it without having to put the cd in. I found a "no cd crack" for my Diablo game and it has served me well, but I cant seem to find one for this game. Can anyone tell me how I can do this on my own?

I have a cd key.... I keep getting scratches on cd's (misshandling I know) and having to purchase them again.
The game i am worried about is an older game that i just replaced , and i am worried i wont be able to find it again at some future date.

Scratches shouldn't matter much, not as long as they are not penetrating the plastic surface covering on the CD. But if your CD player is scratching CDs so much they become unreadable, don't you think it's time to replace the drive first, then the games?

if u have a cd writer then try copying ur game to another cd. then u can use the copied cd to run the game which wont have any scratches.

That worked Breezeit , thanks........... and its not the cd drive thats scratching them . its being shuffeled around so much. I change up games so often and the disks sometimes get left laying on the desktop and such... thats whats causing the problems.
