PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Win XP Home
Problem Application Name & Version: MSIE 6, I guess...?
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Custom-built computer
Error Messages: None, see below

My anti-virus software detected Pribi today. I used Google, found these forums, and used HijackThis to delete Pribi. After doing so, IE and other programs have become slow to launch, the Startbar menus are slow to load/unfold, and with IE, also slow to browse, and sometimes a brief white flash appears within the browser while pages are loading, as if the document decides to display blank after partially loading, and then goes ahead and loads all the information anyway. I am on an ADSL connection and have never experienced this before removing Pribi.

I searched the forums and changed the settings in Ad-Aware so that it would complete a more thorough scan. I also have Spybot 1.3 and have used both to search for spyware et al in my computer.

Here is my most recent HijackThis log, made as I came to the forum to post this problem. I don't know what else to look for in the log that might be malicious, and I didn't want to try matching entries with what other people have posted because of computer differences. My system is already set to show hidden files.

Any direction and help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you Removed anything in your log can you please restore it, they may
be something that you missed
Open Hijackthis>>>Config>>>Backups
Highlight All and restore
There is no way of us telling whether you removed something that you
need unless we see the whole log, please show us everything

The only things I removed were references to Pribi (three), instructions for which I followed from other topics posted in this forum. Everything else is as it was.

I can't find anything wrong with your log
You may want to try an Online Virus Scan at
Housecall's---Set to Autoclean
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
and/or
Panda's
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm

But still not much showing in your log, this is just to be on the safe side

Another thing you may want to try is running a Registry cleaner
Here's a free one
http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm
Use the function to clean Registry or do a find for Pribi
I would use the clean Registry option and delete everything it finds
Make sure that make backups is checked
You may also want to create a Restore Point
START>>>All Programs>>>Accessories>>System Tools>>>System Restore
