Is it possible to force log-on before I make an answer? Now I sometimes don't log in and start an answer, only to find that everything will be gone when I try to post it, because I am not logged in. Or my login doesn'r work completely and I run into the same problems.

Going back one page in my Mozilla 1.8a3 doesn't help as the answer is then lost.

Having a forced login the moment I want to reply would help more. Smiley

I am not aware of a MOD for this but I will look into it.

Actually, this feature already exists!

If you're not logged in, you will see a USERNAME: and PASSWORD: field on the post page.

If you forget to enter it, then you post, there will be a message that you're not logged. Now the fact that going back and you lose what you typed in is a "behavior" of Mozilla because that doesn't happen using IE.

I suppose the code could be written to have a pop-up if you forget to enter a username/password, which would then stop the page from being submitted but I did not find a MOD to do this.

If I come across something I will let you know.

Thanks for the effort, Admin. Smiley

I do notice it tries to tell me to log on and it does, but by that time my text will have gone lost as well. i.e. I never return to the thread/forum that I just posted in. So a login option before I ever go to answer somewhere would be 'nicer'.

You're right though, it probably is a bug between Snitz 2000 and Mozilla. I'll check the Bugzilla bug database on that.
