I am running Windows ME and since I last ran a windows update, I have not been able to print off the internet.  I get the following message:
Script error
Line: 639
Character: 1
Invalid argument
URL:  Res://C:\Windows\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/Preview.dlg
I am running into the additional problem of not being able to access the windows update website without getting error messages and having explorer shut down on me.  This is all very frustrating. I am running McAffee virus scan and Firewall plus and have tried changing setting there but it has made not difference.
any help would be GREATLY appreciated as this has been going on for quite a while and I just started back to school!!!!
Thanks!

Thanks for the help. I will try the first suggestion - but my question is - I already have McAffee virus scan, firewall plus and
AdAware as well as AVG.  Do I need more do you think?  Or - maybe there are too many.  People have tried to help me using these programs.  I can't imagine I need more.
Thanks again!
