Check what kind of BIOS you have and then cross-check it against this list: http://www.amptron.com/html/bios.beepcodes.html

I am gambling on an Award BIOS, and the bad CPU option.

I was hoping it wouldnt be the CPU, but before i go out and spend another $100 on this computer, i think i'm going to recheck the RAM. Right now my only options would be new CPU or new RAM. Because my video card (geforce 2) works on my ASUS board, the hard drive, cd-roms, and floppy drive all were pulled from working systems(except the hard drive, bought it new), all the cables work, and the power supply was pulled from my main comp(profile computer). I really hate the fact that i just bought this new SOYO board for absolutly nothing, but i was just trying out everything again and the shuttle board doesnt send power to anything at all...so maybe that one finally blew out. Anyway, ill test the ram first, if thats the problem i guess im going to need new ram..if that still doesnt fix it then it HAS to be the cpu. and it that doesnt fix it, i think im going to throw this thing out the window of a 30 story building. =(
