PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows 98
Problem Application Name & Version:EasyCD Creator 4.02
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Gateway
Error Messages:No DVD installed

When I load EasyCD Creator 4.02 it does not recognise the drive - a Mat****a DVD-ROM SR-8586. I had problems with the drive - now resolved. It worked perfectly with the application previously. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to no avail. Can anyone help?

It's most likely that your EZ-CD Creator is out of date(V 4.02), it probably can't recognize the drive. The latest version that I know of is V 7+. If it is a fairly new model the older versions of any software won't understand. Just a guess! Smiley

Thanks - but it's still the old DVD drive and it recognized it previously!
