PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:win 98 SE
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



Hi!:) I have a problem when accessing the drive C
(Primary master), when I Access the c:\ it goes like
this " write fault error reading drive c
       abort, retry, Ignore, fail.
help! more power I and love this site !!!!!!!

Try this: Startup your computer and after the Ram count beeps, press and hold the Control key to invoke the Boot menu.
Choose Command Prompt.
Type Scanreg /Restore and hit enter.
Choose the most recent registry backup marked as Started and press Enter and Enter again.
If windows still does not start, repeat the process and  choose the next older registry backup.

The problem is, when I hold the control key and I type the scanreg/restore this error appear "write fault error reading drive c
                                   abort, retry , ignore, fail
txt back!!!
