When I try to buy something online, or go to certain sites, my computer will not let me go there. I have turned down my internet privacy levels to the lowest, but it still wont work.  I also cannot use file sharing programs for some reason. It seems that anything with an unsecure connection will not load.  Please help with this. Thanks.

Let's see if this is an adware problem
Could you do the following

Would you please download Hijackthis---Important---Create a permanent folder hijackthis
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT
OR create a folder as C:\HJT---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
download from
HERE or HERE

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----It is all important

Also, go back to Hijackthis, could you open Hijackthis>>>>Config>>>
Misc Tools>>>Open Hosts File Manager>>>Click open in Notepad
Copy and paste the Whole contents of the Notepad back here

And could you also open IE
Tools>>>Internet Options>>>Content tab
Clear SSL slate
