Ensure you have the latest version of CWShredder-->1.59.1

The latest version of Ad-Aware is SE Personal 1.05
The latest version of Spybot is 1.3
If your not using these versions please uninstall and reinstall to the latest----Check for updates with both

Set Windows to Show Hidden Files and Folders

RESTART INTO SAFE MODE

Find and delete these files or folders if they exist
C:\WINDOWS\DLLHLP.EXE <--this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\golumm <--this folder

Navigate to your Temp folders and delete the Whole contents,or whatever you can, including subfolders, but DON'T delete the Temp directories themselves
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP <--delete the whole contents
C:\WINDOWS\TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES <--delete the whole contents

In safe mode
Do another Scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries
and then FIX CHECKED when ALL other windows are closed

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://mypoiskovik.com/index.htm

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [golumm] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\golumm\services.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dllhelp] c:\windows\dllhlp.exe

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {237AA178-C3BC-4f67-A8BB-D8BC14BA0B89} - (no file) (HKCU)

Optionally, I would fix the next ones too, not immeditate threats, but considered resource hogs, programs work fine without them
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LoadQM] loadqm.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\QTTASK.EXE" -atboottime
O4 - Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE

After you have fix checked and closed hijackthis
Run CWShredder and let it FIX all problems

RESTART back in Normal mode
Don't open a browser yet, instead access Internet Options via Control
Panel
Under the Programs tab "Reset Web Settings"
Under the General tab---Reset home page

Run a scan with Ad-Aware-----Fix ALL critical objects
Run a scan with Spybot---Fix everything in RED

RESTART one more time to finish the cleaning process

Post back a Fresh hijackthis log and let me know how everything is going

Could you also
Download STARTDRECK

Unzip it to it's own folder

run StartDreck.exe:
Hit: -config
hit: -Unmark all
Check these boxes only:
*Registry->run keys
*Registry->Browser helper objects
*System/drivers> Running processes
hit >ok.

Use the "save" tab, to save, name and post the log!

Were you able to delete this folder?
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\golumm <--this folder

Have hijackthis fix this entry, remember to Close down ALL other windows including this one when fixing it with hijackthis

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [sysinit] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\golumm\services.exe

RESTART and delete that folder if you didn't before

You should install these 2 apps., they add extra security while
silently protecting you, without running in the background

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==Link to Tutorial
Download link==Download link
Scroll down and click on IE-SPYAD.EXE Free!

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks

Post back another hijackthis log if that entry returns, if not stay safe Smiley
