Hi I have a problem, I'm on windows XP and I seem to have deleted somthing so I can't get any sounds at all, if I try to check the volume controls I get a message saying
"Windows cannot execute SndVol32.exe"
I'm a bit of a P.C. idiot and have no idea what to do, my friend suggested this site because you helped him.
Any help you give would be much appreciated

Do you know what kind of soundcard you have? Is it onboard on the motherboard (a chip) or is it a card that's plugged into the motherboard? Do you know its name, if it's a card?
If it's onboard on the motherboard, do you know what brand and model of motherboard you have?

Essential questions if we're to reinstall your soundcard drivers.
