Hi, I use IE5 on windows XP. Recently i've been finding that I do not see a lot of pictures on webpages. I just get a white box with a red cross in it. I recently downloaded SP2, could this be having an effect as I would really like my pictures back.
Any advice would be greatlt appreciated.
Thanks
Ian

I suggest you goto the Microsoft Update page and update your Browser to IE6,also any other Critical Updates available.

I have tried that and downloaded all updates whether critical or not, but unfortunately it has not stopped the problem. I think this may have started happening when i downloaded SP2. It happens both on e.mail (outlook express) and internet (IE). I looked through some help screens on SP2 and they suggested I go into outlook express and uncheck "Block images and other external content in HTML e.mail". I tried to do this but it was already unchecked.

Do you use Norton Internet Security?
If yes, disable the box for; advertisments (sorry do not know how you call that in English)
