PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows 98
Problem Application Name & Version: Outlook Express 6.0
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: None

Recently I had to revert back to a registry in August from October because of virus problems. I had to re-download the I.E. 6.0 Internet Explorer Service Pack which comes with Outlook Express 6.0.

For some reason, (and I had this problem before) 6.0 does not play well with my operating system even tho I suppose it should. I was running Outlook Express 5.0 while still using I.E. 6.0 before and it worked fine.

With O.E. 6.0 I cannot receive or send mail. However, I can receive mail if I logon to my service providers web site. Plus I had them double check and my mail is working fine. Just not from my "mail" button".

I once found an artice that when one # was changed in the registry, O.E. reverted back to 5 w/o losing I.E. 6. I guess my question is does anyone know how to revert back to 5 while keeping I.E. 6.

Thanks! Smiley
