I recently purchased an MP3 player(ST Series 128mb MP3 Stix MOSMP020) and i can't get it installed on my pc. I rang their helpline and was advised to uninstall the software and just plug the player in as Xp would recognise it and it would appear as a removable drive this did not happen although it does appear in my hardware devices with no drivers downloaded (code 28). When i try to download the drivers from the disc i get the message
"An error occurred during installation of the device. The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for windows 95 or later. contact your hardware vendor"
I have all the system requirements. I'm running windows Xp home edition on a Medion
please help
