Can anyone tell me how I can make ny homepage stay at what I put in the box in the internet options page? At the moment for some reason all it will say is about: blank, no matter what I do I cannot get it to change, even though I put in the adress and then click apply and then ok, it just keeps returning to about:blank when you go to internet explorer icon. I have tried to make google my homepage by clicking on thier link, this still does not work.   How can I solve this? Iam running windows ME.

Hi vivien, can you post a hijackthis log.
Would you please download Hijackthis---Important---Create a permanent folder hijackthis
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT
OR create a folder as C:\HJT---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
download from
HERE or HERE

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----It is all important

Once your log is posted I'll move this thread to the Security and Viruses forum
