PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows XP Prof
Problem Application Name & Version: upgrade Bios
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Unknown mother board
Error Messages:none

I would like to upgrade my bios if possible but not sure 1) if there is an upgrade available 2) how to figure out the make of your mother board. 3) what risks are there in doing this.

My purpose for doing this is that I have SCSI drive currently and have a new IDE drive that I want to install but my system will not recognize both types.

Thank you!
