PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows XP Home edition
Problem Application Name & Version:Windows installer/ Mircosoft money
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: Application.exe, says cannot start application because mnysl.dll is missing.

MY computer is running very slow and when ever I open something windows installer tries to install Mircosoft money on my computer 3 or 4 times I cancel everytime and then the application I'm opening will open. I tried to scan for viruses with Norton 2005 it turned up nothing but when I tried to update it through live update it gave me an LU9000 error. Then I tried updating through intelligent updater and it said that it could not be updated as my subscription was up. My subscription does not end until sept of next year. My recieved files have also been erased.
Can someone please tell me what going on and how I can fix it

Thanks
B

Sending you to the Virus forums. If it turns out it isn't a virus, jvic can always send the thread back to the Windows forum.

Please download exeHijackThis http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/HijackThis.  Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there.  Run a scan and save the log file.  Post the whole log file here.  Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required).  This program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer.

In that case just follow the path and delete the highlighted file

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MoneyStartUp10.0] "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\Activation.exe"

I'm still having a problem with my recieved files folder erasing anything I put int it. Can you please help me with that, I think the problem may be rooted in the same place as these items occurred at the same time

Thanks

You may have to put that question to another forum as I sure it not virus related.
