Huh?
I'm running a Pentium4 HT 3.0Ghz (Northwood)(200x15/800FSB) on a Gigabyte GA8IPE1000 Pro3 Motherboard (BIOS vF6), Infineon 1024MB (2x512MB) DDR400 PC3200 RAM and an ATi RADEON X800XT PE (520/560) and im looking into overclocking both the CPU and GPU...also looking into watercooling too but right now i cant even reach 3.45Ghz (230x15)(Multiplyer is locked) without the computer crashing on boot...i dont believe it is a temperature issue or a voltage issue and my RAM was set from 200x2 (400Mhz) to 200x1.6 (320Mhz) (Multiplyer is unlocked on RAM) and it still crashes. i can only reach 3.39Ghz (226x15) at 320Mhz for RAM (80Mhz below stock) without having it crash on boot. is there any info i need to know before i go about overclocking because right now i dont know how to reach higher frequencies on my CPU. thanx in advance.

Some CPU's just can't handle overclocking past a certain point. There are certain codes on AMD CPUs, I'm not sure about Intel, that can tell you how well the CPU will overclock.

I'm not sure if Intel processors can be unlocked by bridging the little silver marks on them but I know AMD ones can be. Basically without the multiplier being unlocked there's only so far you can push your CPU.
