John, you're patience is appreciated.....when I point to the link (coyote.org)the curser turns into the hand but when I double click it refuses to open the selected item. So I manually typed the url but ran into the same problem when i attempted to download the HJT version from the site.......Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Your log looks good

Go to start>settings>control panel>internet options
Under the general tab
click>delete cookies>say ok
click>delete files>check delete offline content>say ok twice
Under the programs tab
click>reset web settings

Prevention
To help in preventing your system from being infected again

* SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed.
  Spywareblaster

* SpywareGuard offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts.
  Spywareguard

To protect yourself further:

* IE/Spyad places over 4000 websites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (Cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
  IE/Spyad

* Get the free google toolbar to help stop pop up windows.
  Google Toolbar

These steps should be done on a regular basis.

1.You should run a scan with Ad-Aware regularly (Keep the definitions updated)

2.Run windows updates at least once a month

3.Keep your antivirus updated weekly

4.I also suggest that you delete any files from "temp", "tmp" folders.
  In Internet Explorer, click on
"Tools" => "Internet Options" => "Delete Files" and select the box that says
"Delete All Offline Content" and click on "OK" twice.

John, thanks for everything but I'm concerned something may have been deleted that I shouldn't have. When I open add/remove programs the box is empty. If I go directly to Program Files it shows in the bottom left "59 objects" however the page is completely blank!

Nothing in hijack this would cause that.

Thanks John.......some really weird stuff going on now, although no trace of re-directs, etc.

Examples: If I go to Start-Run nothing happens, Start Search nothing happens, my printer has been wiped out and when I click on Add Printer a error message pops up saying the sytem is out of resources, same error message pops up at start-up indicating my McCaffee shield won't load for the same reason, if I go to my work Exchange server to check my outlook email I can see the messages being displayed but it wont let me open them when I click on them, if I try a search in the address bar it takes me to a blank page, etc.....yikes!

When you used Spybot Search and Destroy did you use the locking features on the immunize tab? If so remove the checkmark(s) and attempt to open the applet again.

Try and open this way...
Start > Run > Control.exe appwiz.cpl (press enter) ...

What happens?

Also goto...
Start > Run > Cmd (press enter) ...
Now in the command window type
Sfc /scannow (press enter) ...

System file check should run ...

When was the last full checkdisk and defrag?

Go through the items I've mentioned and post back.
