Hi

My IE has been hijacked by any-find.com, and I'm finding it impossible to remove successfully. I now get a 'win min' error on closing the machine down. And multiple scripting errors when browsing. Please can someone show me the way out of this. Thanks in advance.

Please download and run the following programs:

AD-AWARE

Install the program and launch it.

First, in the bottom right-hand corner of the main window
click on Check for updates now then click Connect and download
the latest reference files.

Then, in the main window: Click Start and under Select
a scan Mode tick Perform full system scan.

Then, deselect Search for negligible risk entries.

To start the scan, click the Next button.

When the scan is finished mark everything for removal
and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose select
all from the drop down menu and then click Next)

Restart your computer.

SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY

Open Spybot Search & Destroy (Click Start, Programs,
Spybot S&D (Advanced Mode). Click online, Search for updates,
Download all available updates. Close all Browser windows,
Click ''Check for Problems''. Anything that needs to be fixed
it will show in red and have a green check in the box to the left.
Click ''Fix Selected Problems'', Then restart your computer.
Run HJT and post a new log

Run An Online Virus Scan At
Trend Micro
Remove anything it finds and write down any files it says are uncleanable
(Write down the name and path)

Lets see what this cleans out then post a fresh log

Ok first Please download:

CWSHREDDER but do not run it just yet
Boot Into Safe Mode Making Sure You Can see Hidden files And Folders

How To Boot Into SafeMode

How To Show Hidden Files And Folders
See if you can delete those files found by TrendMicro
While still in safe mode Close all browser windows, open cwshredder.exe then click
"Fix" and let it run.
Restart your computer and post a new hijack this log

Run hijack this and place a check beside the following:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://any-find.com/sp.htm
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.yahoo.co.uk/
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://any-find.com/index.htm
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [waopgrq] c:\windows\hrnljlg.exe
Close all windows except for hijack this and click fix
Delete:
c:\windows\hrnljlg.exe

Go to start>settings>control panel>internet options
Under the general tab
click>delete cookies>say ok
click>delete files>check delete offline content>say ok twice
Under the programs tab
click>reset web settings

Restart your computer and post a new hijack this log

That should have you all cleaned up but lets just make sure

You look good

Prevention

To help in preventing your system from being infected again

* SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed.
  Spywareblaster

* SpywareGuard offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts.
  Spywareguard

To protect yourself further:

* IE/Spyad places over 4000 websites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (Cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
  IE/Spyad

* Get the free google toolbar to help stop pop up windows.
  Google Toolbar

These steps should be done on a regular basis.

1.You should run a scan with Ad-Aware regularly (Keep the definitions updated)

2.Run windows updates at least once a month

3.Keep your antivirus updated weekly

4.I also suggest that you delete any files from "temp", "tmp" folders.
  In Internet Explorer, click on
"Tools" => "Internet Options" => "Delete Files" and select the box that says
"Delete All Offline Content" and click on "OK" twice.
