Hi

Could you run Hijackthis on the PC again...
---Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
Download from here
http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----most entries are harmless and needed.

thank you for you reply

i can no longer run hi jack this as the exe had to b removed ( it was interferring the users work ( we rely heavly on citrix for are laptop users)

i have found several threads in this forum that have the exe in the hijack this thread however none of them refert to abrps.exe directly

i would like to know

if its part of a larger group of programs ( that just abrps.exe interfers swith citrix)
where i can get it ( so we can "install" it on a test machine)
and so we can have the users avoid that site / program in the future

thank you

You can hit CTL+ALT+DEL and stop abrps.exe from running....
Then try and run HJT again...
Not sure what it is but certainly not needed as there is NO info on that file at all.

See if that works to get HJT running and post the WHOLE logfile back in this thread.
