Operating System Version:
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

Hi.....I'm having a very hard time getting rid of this mypoisikvik junk. I wouldn't be troubling you guys with this problem but all other posts on the site relating to this issue are only case relevant and I have many more files on my log than others. Anyways, I've been reading up for a while now but it hasn't seemed to help, so any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Here's my log file:

***NOTE***
Please make a folder for hijackthis, It's not adviseable to leave it on your desktop, backups will be spread all over your screen

Can you please download the Newer version of Hijackthis 1.98.2
---Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
Download from here
http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----most entries are harmless and needed.

Hey killa_ky ...
Please make a folder for hijackthis, It's not adviseable to leave it on your desktop, backups will be spread all over your screen ...
Right click an empty spot in the MyDocuments Folder----left click NEW---Folder
Name it HJT---copy and paste hijackthis to that new folder and delete the one on the desktop originally downloaded.
Don't delete backups until everything is running ok...

Download the FixBlast.exe file from:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixBlast.exe

Save the file to a convenient location, such as your downloads folder or the Windows Desktop (or removable media that is known to be uninfected, if possible).

Close all the running programs before running the tool.
If you are running Windows XP, then disable System Restore.

CAUTION: If you are running Windows XP, I strongly recommend that you do not skip this step. The removal procedure may be unsuccessful if Windows XP System Restore is not disabled, because Windows prevents outside programs from modifying System Restore.

Double-click the FixBlast.exe file to start the removal tool.
Click Start to begin the process, and then allow the tool to run.

Note: If, when running the tool, you see a message that the tool was not able to remove one or more files, run the tool in Safe mode. Shut down the computer, turn off the power, and wait 30 seconds. Restart the computer in Safe mode and then run the tool again. All the Windows 32-bit operating systems, except Windows NT, can be restarted in Safe mode. For instructions, read this How to start the computer in Safe Mode.

Restart the computer.
Run the removal tool again to ensure that the system is clean.
If you are running Windows XP, then re-enable System Restore.

For more info

Update your Virus Definitions run a full Scan.
Run HJT again and post back with a fresh logfile.
