PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP Home
Problem Application Name & Version: I'm not sure
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Dell Dimension XPS 450
Error Messages: non

I must have picked up trojan/virus in a driveby download from IE6.  A process, dnsbak.exe is now hogging 50 to 95% of my CPU processor.  I tried running Adaware but the culprit deactivated any ability to eradicate spyware/trojans.  After uninstalling adaware, I attempted to install a newer version, but could not install any programs.  The virus/trojan is tricking my computer into thinking that the hard drive is full even after I uninstalled files and programs to clear up disk space.

Any suggestions on how to clean up my system, other than by doing a complete Windows download?  Thanks your help is appreciated.

Please download:
Hijack This

Make sure you unzip hijack this to its own folder
such as C:\Program files as this is where the backups will
be created.Run Hijack this but do NOT fix anything.Click save
log and a log will open in notepad.Copy and paste your log here.
