PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows Profession 2000
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced startup options for Windows 2000, press F8.
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows 2000
Setup using the orignal setup floppy disk or CD-ROM
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.

I wasn't able to accomplish but I am able to boot up using a WIN 98 Boot Disk booting from Floppy Drive A:  I also can access the the harddrive after I boot up with this boot disk.  How can I figure out which file needs to be replaced and where can I get it.  I have my Windows 2000 CD-Disk.  I also just ran the most current service pack update about a week ago.  Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Try this Yotaru ...

Boot from Win2000 CD, choose new install - it finds your installation and offers to repair it...choose that option.
