I have a friend who has a problem with internet explorer. When he uses it it comes up with the error
   microsoft visual c++ debug library debug eror
program c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
   abnormal program termination
   press retry to debug the application
   when you press ignore you get
    microsoft visual c++ runtime library
    runtime error
    abnormal program termination
    then explorer crashes

Hi tomo .. Download Hijackthis
---Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
Download from here
http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
into a NEW THREAD in the Security & Viruses Forum... Don't try and fix anything yet----most entries are harmless and needed.
