I have a soft spot for old laptops. I recently purchased an old Sharp PC-3040 100 Mhz laptop with only 8 megs of RAM and running Windows 95.
Last night I went into setup and locked out the floppy for users and only made it usable for administrators.Only now it does not work for anyone. Today I went back to Setup but The supervisor icon is blue and I do not know how to access it. How do I access the supervisor icon to turn the floppy drive back on? Thanks guys/Gals.

Hi Slaphappy

Try this

To remove a Supervisor password, follow these steps:

1.Run the BIOS Setup by pressing and holding the F1 key while turning           on the computer.
2.At the password prompt, type in the Supervisor password and press Enter. The BIOS Setup screen should then appear.

3.Select the Password icon and then the Supervisor icon.

4.Type in the current password and then press the spacebar.

5.Press Enter twice.

6.Select Exit and then Restart.

Hope this helped
