Hi cheesecake...

Check in add/remove programs to make sure that you have liveupdate 2.5 installed. If 2.5(or higher) is not installed, go to the Symnatec Website and get it from the downloads area.

Here's link direct to the Download:
http://ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/liveupdate/lusetup.exe

Hello Cactus,

I tried your suggestion but I cannot still turn it on.  Any other trick?.  Also I cannot change the user account, cannot log off as the menu options are disabled (greyed out!).  Please let me know other steps to take.

Thanks!
