The version of HJT that you have is Outdated.
Please download the NEWEST version of Hijackthis 1.98.2
---Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
Download from here
http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----most entries are harmless and needed.

**(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders. This is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)**

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

fdinuxa.exe
oejbjyy.exe

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.) Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Hmmm...did you update SpyBot and Ad-Aware before running them?

Download CWShredder and save it to desktop
http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/10/17/10-17-150.shtml

Next: with only CWShredder open let it FIX all problems...

RESTART your computer.
Don't open a browser yet, instead access Internet Options via Control Panel
Under the Programs tab "Reset Web Settings"
Under the General tab---Delete files + offline content---Also Reset your homepage.

Can you go into SAFE MODE and delete this file:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\eie.dll

Make sure that you Set Windows to show Hidden files and folders
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

Disable tea timer or the fixes will not work.

To disable tea timer open Spybot search and destroy.Make sure you are in the advanced mode and click on tools.Double click resident and uncheck resident tea timer.Then run hijack this and post back a new log.

Sorry for editing your post Cactus
