For the past week, nothing on my desktop works if I double click on it.  But if I right click and click on open, the program with run but very slowly.  My internet is incredibly slower than it usually is.  Interent constantly freezes up on me.  If I ctrl + alt + delete, I see a lot of programs running so I think I have something on my computer.  If I choose to end task during the freeze up of the interent, it will close the window but I lose all my desktop icons and toolbars.  I also cannot get the pictures off my digital camera to load onto my computer like it normally does.  Here is my hijack this log:

Set Windows to show Hidden files and folders
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

**(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders. This is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)**

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

KTJOVD.EXE
MSNAPPAU.EXE
SALM.EXE
TSM2.EXE
ALCHEM.exe
ktjovd.exe
jwn.exe
wupdt.exe
SATMAT.exe

Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

I have done what you have advised, everything seems to be working fine.  I just have one problem, my USB port doesn't seem to be responding.  I use my USB for my printer, when I try to print it says there is an error in writing to the USB printer and the printer is not ready.  But the printer is on and ready.  I also use the USB for my digital camera, which I am not able to send pictures from my camera to my computer.  I don't know if this has anything to do with the previous problem, but I was wondering if you could help me.  Here is my new Log:

Ok Lesley..we need to DELETE the HJT exe that you have..leave all the BACKUPS there,and Download the Newest version...HJT 1.98.2
Save the file to the HJT folder you created in MYDOCUMENTS
Now re-run HJT and Post back with a fresh logfile.
