Geek Girl..

Actually, someone took photos of my children and mailed me the disc.  I copied them to my hard drive but they are in exe. mode.  I changed that to a zip file... and now I am lost.  I am trying to print them, crop them, email them, anything.  I have changed the file to a read - write file and it still is not working.  I am so frustrated!

Thanks for your help!

Put the CD in the Rom Drive...
Open up the Drive Folder...
Open each pic then Right-click..SAVE AS..

In the DROP DOWN Menu choose JPEG..save them to a PIC folder or something.

Then to Crop you will need a Photo Editing Application to do that.

Errm, easier than all of the above/below (sorry Cactus Wink), yet the files on the CD are in .exe format, aren't they? That means they are in an executable format, most probably a WinRAR or WinZIP exexcutable.

Just doubleclick on any of the exe files while they are on your CD and a dialogue window will pop up where you want to save the contents of the file to. When you're done with one .exe, go for the next, or just check what was in the last one.

The person who took the pictures was trying to be extra helpful. He just didn't know you didn't know about computers.
