Operating System Version: windows xp home sp2
Problem Application Name & Version: Norton Systemworks 2005 / Norton Internet Security 2005
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Dell Dimension 4700 with ATI Radeon X300 PCI Express
Error Messages: Screen Resolution and Colors are decreased when application launches

When I launch Norton Utilities my screen resolution is forced from 1024 X 768 to 800 X 600 and the colour settings go from 32 million to 16. When I close the application, the screen reverts to where it was before. I've installed the latest video card drivers, and have the windows firewall turned off. No help from either Dell, Symantec or ATI. Any suggestion would be greatly appriciated.
