Hotmail was freezing up , until I uninstalled msn messener 6.2 windows . With msn messenger 6.2, it had to be running or hotmail frooze. I worked around the problem by only using windows messenger. You did not have to keep windows messenger running. I did not care for it.
I came across this beta issue of msn messenger. When downloading it, it prompted me to a new version. I Thought oh not version 6.2 again. It was not , it was the beta 7.
Hotmail does not freeze now wether I run msn messenger beta or not.
This might be the fix we need for hotmail.

link to the download http://www.soft32.com/download_75974.html

I would be interested if others find this helps with hotmail, msn 6.2 messenger conflicts.

Can anyone tell me what beta is ? PC dumb here

Hi joe765
We really appreciate you sharing that information with us.

"Beta" means the product is being tested. Beta is like "in the works". Before the release.....Grin

Hope this helped
