i have win xp pro i believe that my ethernet card is causing me a problem. the ethernet card is build into the mb when i try to get on the internet i cannot i try to repair the ip address it wouldnot. if i shut down the system and start again the ip address might change i just to a way i can trouble shoot the ethernet card please help

Hi haroldbo

Go into Device Manager, see if there are any yellow ? in there under Network Adapters.
