Operating System Version:winxp
Problem Application Name & Version:msinfo32.exe
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

When I run "msinfo32.exe" from "Start/run/" I get sent to the "Windows Help and Support Center".  The same thing happens when I go to "Programs/accessories/system tools/system information/advanced system information".  All I'm trying to do is find out how much available memory I have, but I would also like to have access to advanced system information.

Not sure what your problem is, but when you rightclick on My Computer on the desktop, then go for properties, leftclick on that, at the general window you should see how much memory you have.

Then when you rightclick on the taskbar at the bottom, go for task manager, then for Preformance, you should be able to see how much memory is used and what's free.
