PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP Pro SP2
Problem Application Name & Version:Windows XP Pro
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Homebuilt AMD XP 1500, 512 MB , Geforce 5700LE 128 MB
Error Messages:None


I get this black periodic screen for a couple of seconds while in windows doing normal things like checking mail, web surfing etc..but while playing games like HL2 I have no problem..Changed monitor but, still have the problem, Changd video card but still have the problem..Updated bios and video card drivers but, still have the problem...

Maybe changing the resolution might sort it.  

click Start-Settings-Control Panel
double click Display Properties
click Properties tab
