PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: XP Pro SP2
Problem Application Name & Version: Webcam Driver
Problem Hardware Make & Model: N/a
Error Messages:



i need drivers for my webcam
i lost the cd when we moved houseas now i was hoping to get the drivers
i dont know the name of the came BUT i bought it from argos

that is the actual cam which i have but it has no branding our names at all on there
does any1 recognise this cam
i know its cheap and pretty pants, but i wanted it because my little boy is growing up and my nan in japan would like to see him more and more

i know i havent supplied much info but i have tried my best

I have the same webcam (the box states that it is a "View-Cam" but gives no brand name)  Apparently it's based on a Sonix chipset.
Looking on Google, I found the following on another forum - the driver works for this webcam on W98 so it might well work on other Windows systems!
It's a 2mb download available from http://www.sweex.nl/product.asp?pld256
Go to the 'Drivers' section and download the file
'JA000020 voor nov2003.zip'
Once downloaded, unzip (there is another zip file inside this!) and run the PCCAMHv71_v2.0.0.0.exe

This will install the driver - reboot and the webcam should work.
