I have a Dell Latitude D600 notebook with windows xp. My problem is everthing I copy to disk for collage, I cant get back off as it is read only. Is there any setting I need to change or a way around this??
Incase you havn't guessed this is all new to me.
Please help

Might be me, but that's normal. Everything that's written onto a CD is essentially read-only. The only thing you can do extra to a CD-Rewritable (RW), is add to it or completely empty the disc and then write new material to it.

But the data on there will be read-only. If you copy it down to your harddrive, go to the properties of that data and uncheck the Read-Only attribute. That will make the data accessible again for editing and rewriting (on the harddrive).
