PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows XP home

Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

If I open ANY application, sooner or later (usually sooner) it deselects the application. Ex. I am typing this post and as I am typing the words stop appearing, because the IE is deselected so I have to click the screen each time it does this. It happens every 5-15 seconds. When I start a game, it immediately goes to the desktop without quitting the game, as if I hit ctrl+esc. When i go back in, it does the same thing. I can't play any games because of this and I can't type very well. Please help!

Sounds like you've got some kind of bug in your system. No, not one with 4 or more legs, but one of the nastier electronic ones. I'll move you over to the Security & Viruses forums, let them have a look see on your system. Wouldn't harm.

Hi
Please download HijackThis.  Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there.  Run a scan and save the log file.  Post the whole log file here.  Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required).  This program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer.

You will need to run  hjt and just need to remove the file and the folder and then remove the three items from the log. With any EXE files have been selected go into HijackThis/Config/Misc/Tools/ and open process manager. Select the  EXE files (if they are there) and click Kill process before deleting.
