Problem Application Name & Version:artec bkm 52x16c
Problem Hardware Make & Model:v2.ef    w183*
Error Messages:please insert correct medium

please help me im a bit of a newb,when i insert a blank cdr my pc wont recognise it like it usually does on xp,ive tried it with nero as well but with no luck,ive tried windows update and uninstalling the drivers but this hasnt helped either,its strange because it reads music cds and dvds,just not cdrs.i  have seen that some one has had  the same problem as me previously and our hardware is similar but the solution didnt work for me.please hlp me im at my wits end. thanks
