I have a ibm thinkpad 570 and for some reason when i shut down my computer one night it lost my OS.... im running windows xp.  i put the windows cd back in and did everything i could think of in there, i re-installed it, i deleted the partition and created a new one.... ive went to repair windows and it still doesnt do anything for me.  it finishes but it comes to a screen where it says remove anything from the A: drive before it restarts and it goes right back to the begining of the installation.  ive tried removing the cd and letting it load when it says to remove anything in a: drive, but it still says operating system is not found.... WTF!
