PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP
Problem Application Name & Version: Hijack This 1.99.0

As soon as I press scan it scans and when it is done it says it has encountered a problem and ask if I want to send an error report or not. Any advice on how to get this to work will be greatly appriciated.

You may also have other junk in there so run SpyBot S&D and Adaware first. If the scan does not work then try it in safe mode.............

thanx, but it doesn't help, i've tried all those tools but they don't fix my problem. I've tried in safe mode too. No luck though. It still encounters a problem and has to close.

thanx for the help but the link on there website is broken. But is is ok because i fixed the problem. I think the problem was that WToolsA.exe still existed on my computer despite the use of adware and spyware removal programs. I ended up just removing it manually in safe mode. My computer is free of adware now because of this wonderful website and all the help provided here.
