Operating System Version:xp
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



My son Uses Aol. as browser.  I sent him a url from internet explore to look at and ever sense at least 25 popups will show up. He can't get rid of them. We tried task manager, it did not react, got more popups in fact. Then he went to windows update and downloaded that. Still no help. The he tried to download Service Pack 2. It would not load due to Aol pop up blocker turned on so we temp. turned it off. Retried to install service pack. Still would not load.  Need advice as to what to try next.

Please download HijackThis.  Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there.  Run a scan and save the log file.  Post the whole log file here.  Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required).  This program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer.
