PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:xp
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:dell 8100
Can not idetify this process running in task manager msvcun.exe every 10 seconds it eats up 80-90% of my processor resources. It is listed in the reg under windows servicepack2 but can not get rid of it. Everytime I end the process in task manager it starts up again imediately.

Anyone know what this is.

I can't either identify what process that is. You didn't make a typo in it? Have you searched for the file on your harddrive, can you tell where it is? Tried it properties, does that tell you a bit more?

Just wanted to let you know that after working on it for a long time I found out that msvcun.exe is a trojan virus that imbeds itself in the reg and auto starts over and over no matter what you do. It uses between 85 to 90% of your processor resourses every 10 seconds. Norton will catch it but only after the latest updates. It must be fairley new.
