Hi,

Do you get the same problem booting in Safe-Mode?
Do you still have the EICON WAN Miniport Adapter? If so, try putting it back in to see if Windows loads properly and then look at the "Add/Remove Software" in the control panel for an entry for the EICON WAN Miniport Adapter or something similar. Remove it if there is an entry and if there isn't then go to the "Device Manager" through the "System" icon in the Control Panel and under the Netork Adapter section, select the EICON WAN Miniport Adapter and remove it. Then shutdown and remove the card.

On rebooting the machine it goes straight into SacnDisk even though the F8 key is pressed, it then tries to boot up through to full windows, but freezes up with the Error message as already described

Hi,

Try holding down the <SHIFT> key from the moment the system powers up until a few seconds after the Windows logo screen appears. Then hit the <ESC> key to remove the logo screen and see if the system is starting up in Safe-Mode.
