Ok, here is the story.  That temp file that keeps showing up is created by trend mico, it is the "watch dog" that watches all incoming files.  No mater what I did my homepage kept changing (but WIN MIN went away).  Finally off a whim, I deleted "c:\program files\PPC Advertor" and all files within.  This took care of it.  Just thought I'd give you one more piece for your book of knowledge.  Thank you again for all of your help.  This is a great site you guys have going here.
