PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:windows ME

Today I was on www.sears.ca (using internet explorer) and when I tried to enlarge the picture of an item that I was interested in buying, (it said "click here to enlarge picture"), it would not enlarge it.  I wrote to Sears and they said that it was working and that I should check my system.  I know I used to be able to use that feature.

Is there something I should check out to see if something was changed on my computer?

Thanks.

I've just went over there, tried something. It opens up a pop-up with the enlarged picture. So my question to you is, do you have a pop-up stopper? Or a search-engine's toolbar, with a built in pop-up stopper?

Thanks for your help.  I don't think I have pop-up blockers on, but I am not too bright around stuff like this so I am not positive!  The pictures still won't enlarge.  Anything else I could check?

Thanks!

You could leave a Hijack This log here.

Download HJT and install it to a folder of its own. Run it, yet don't fix anything. Just save the log, then open it with Notepad and copy its contents, pasting them here in an answer window. That will tell us at least if you have a search toolbar with pop-up stopper, or another pop-up stopper. It'll also tell us if something else might be wrong with your system.

Thanks for your efforts.  This morning I went to another website (L.L. Bean) and I was able to enlarge all of their pictures.  So it appears that it is just some glitch that I have when I am on the Sears' site.  So I may as well stop worrying about that!  Thanks again for your help!

As soon as I sent you all the above "stuff" about Hi-jack, etc., you shut down for a couple of days, and I began to wonder if I caused the trouble!!  Please delete it if you can...it takes up a lot of space!

Thanks for all your help.  Things are working fine now.

You don't have to worry about a thing, as your post did not break the forum. It was a hosting problem that was the issue here.

You have the Google Toolbar installed and that one has a built in pop-up stopper. So all you need to do is hold down the Ctrl key when you click on the images on the Sears website and you should get the enlarged version without a hitch.

Thanks for your efforts.  I tried what you suggested...holding down the control key, but still no luck.  And I turned the pop-up blocker off and it won't allow the pictures to enlarge on the www.sears.ca site.  And yet I can enlarge pictures on other sites, so it has me totally confused.  But...don't worry over it....I can live with it.

Thanks for your efforts.  Smiley
