PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP
Problem Application Name & Version: Webcam
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Webcam
Error Messages:



Ok here is a TUFF one for you guys.

I cant find the webcam drivers i need for my webcam.

1: Ive lost the box for the webcam

2: the foot of the webcam with the serial and model number is broken and gone

3 the webcam has no logo etc, it only says "usb" with U and S regulare letters and B bakwards. looks strange.

THATS it only thing i have is the number thingy on the cord:
awm 2835 e106016 vw-1

its shaped like a UFO and its grey with a darker grey front where the cam head is...


i have no idea what to do, please help!

ps: its a old and cheap cam bought on a aiport in brussel.

be a detective, help me out =) thx all!

Well with the lack of information other than it looks like a UFO we have nothing to go on.
If it is that old and that cheap you may as well pitch it and purchase another one. Don't waste your time or our time searching for an UFO shaped webcam driver Smiley

Straining from laughing about what GG said, what does Device Manager say? Does it tell you what webcam it is, or give any numbers we can work with? The USB cable number just tells us that that cable is used for USB. Cool, nuh? Smiley

If you're sitting behind a 622mbps line, and would think nothing of downloading a Live Linux CD, you could boot one and see what it says in /proc/devices/usb. Wink
