PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP Professional
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model: IBM ThinkPad 570
Error Messages: Operating System Not Found



when i turn off my computer and try to turn it back on, it shows the IBM screen then it goes to a black screen and says OS Not Found... i have to remove the hard drive, memory and the battery and put them back in and turn it back on.. only then does it find the OS and boots normally.  Any ideas?

Hard drive is probably on its way out. Or your connections may need cleaned.
